Prescription refills are handled during office hours. Pain medications are not called in at night or on weekends since the physician must have information and personal identification from your chart. |

What should I do in the case of an emergency? |

If you are having an emergency, you should call our office 24 hours a day to report the emergency to our on call physician. You will be directed to come to the office or to Conway Hospital's emergency room based on the severity and hour of your emergency.
All non-emergency questions should be directed through our office staff. A note will be taken by our receptionist when you call and your chart will be pulled for the doctornd nurse to review. Your doctor's nurse will return your call at the end of the office session.

What to Expect on your Surgery Day? |

Before the day of surgery, a nurse will call you to ask you a few basic questions about your health. The nurse will review your pre-surgery instructions and will tell you the time to arrive at the surgery center. This is the time to ask the nurse any questions you may have about your surgery. The day of surgery, you will be asked to complete a few forms for your insurance and for your patient record. You will be greeted by the surgical staff nurse, who will take you to the preoperative area and prepare you for your surgery. Your family or friends can wait in our comfortable waiting area. They will be kept abreast of your progress throughout the surgery. After surgery, you will be taken to our recovery area and the nursing staff will monitor your progress and assist you in recovering. Your family members will be allowed to join you when you are feeling better. You will receive instructions on your post-operative care n the recovery are. You will be discharged home in the care of a responsible adult.
If you need emergency care after your surgery, you are instructed to contact your physician or go to the nearest emergency room.

How does GreenLight PVP Work? |

There are very few risks with GreenLight PVP. Most patients report a very high level of satisfaction. Patients may experience slight burning during urination and/or a little bit of blood in the urine for a couple of weeks. Some men may experience more severe symptoms, which can be easily treated by your physician. Retrograde ejaculation, or "dry climax", may occur..
